Splurge or Save

My personal philosophy when it comes to fashion is 1) how I feel when I'm wearing an outfit 2) price 3) something along the lines with being in trend (but number one and two always more important) and 4) sometimes I care about the brand. There's always the voice in the back of my head of Meryl Streep's character in The Devil Wears Prada going on and on about fashion trickling down and anything less than the best is the worst and I'm making a mockery of fashion and blah blah blah my brainwashed head often thinks anything other than the top of the line is a worthless knock off... and who knows, maybe it is. It probably is! But not to worry... I'm here to tell you that how you rock an outfit is more important than the actual outfit you're wearing!

So... if you're like me and spending thousands of dollars on an outfit makes you physically sick (um hello think of the starving kids... shiny new things so aren't always worth it!) then listen up!
Here's a list of some trendy items that you can splurge or save on. It's up to you...

Now listen, if someone were to offer me all the splurges at the save prices, 9 out of 10 times I would take it... but I can't always justify spending so much money on something that will go out of style in less than a year. Once in a while, I definitely do splurge! There is absolutely dnothing wrong with rewarding yourself from time to time because, well, you deserve it! But just remember, you don't have to spend lots of cash to look great. Wear what makes you happy and remember that what's on the inside will emanate to the outside :)
